STUDENT GRIEVANCES REDRESSAL CELL

The Student Grievances Redressal Cell at St. Antony’s College is committed to maintaining a harmonious and supportive educational environment. The cell provides a transparent and approachable platform for students to voice their genuine concerns or grievances related to academics, campus facilities, or other aspects of college life.

Students can approach the cell members in person or submit their concerns in writing through the suggestion box installed on campus. The committee encourages students to express their issues openly and responsibly, assuring that all complaints are handled with sensitivity, confidentiality, and fairness.

The objective of the cell is to uphold the dignity of the college and ensure a positive and respectful atmosphere where every student feels heard and supported.

Functions

  • Receiving complaints and grievances from students confidentially
  • Reviewing and investigating issues related to academics, facilities, or campus life
  • Providing guidance and counselling to students facing challenges
  • Recommending solutions and monitoring their implementation
  • Organizing awareness sessions on student rights, responsibilities, and grievance procedures
  • Maintaining transparency and accountability in addressing concerns
  • Encouraging responsible use of the grievance system to maintain a respectful campus atmosphere

Student Grievances Redressal Committee

The Student Grievances Redressal Committee comprises faculty members who review, discuss, and address complaints in a fair and timely manner. The committee organizes regular meetings to examine concerns, recommend solutions, and implement actions that enhance the overall student experience. Through its proactive approach, the committee fosters a safe, equitable, and accountable campus environment.
